Test the PayPal Integration

Once you have successfully integrated your PayPal account within Roster, we recommend sending a test payment to one of the brand's team members to ensure that the PayPal account is 100% ready to send payments.
Before beginning, ensure your PayPal account balance has enough to cover the test transaction and the transaction feel ($0.25 for a U.S. business sending to a U.S. payee.)

Step-by-step instructions
- Add a team member as an ambassador on the Contacts page by clicking Add Contact.
- Add a PayPal or Venmo account as the ambassador's payment method, either in the Brand Portal or the Ambassador Portal.
- Navigate to the Payments page in Roster.
- Click New Referral Reward to add a manual referral commission for a team member's ambassador.
- Approve the commission.
- Go to the Unsent Payments tab and select the team member's ambassador.
- In the Actions dropdown, select Send PayPal and Venmo Payments.
- Complete the steps to send the payment via the PayPal integration.
- The payment should be sent to the ambassador's payment address.
- After making a payment, you can see the transactions in your PayPal account by going to the Transactions page in the PayPal Developer portal.
