importing and recruiting contacts how do i import contacts into roster? to import contacts, navigate to the contacts section and click the import contacts button you can upload a csv file containing your contacts, ensuring that required fields like first name and email are included and properly formatted how do i manage and review applicants in roster? navigate to the contacts tab and switch to the applicants section here, you can approve, reject, or nominate applicants, use search options, and manage columns to better organize applicant data are applicants notified when i approve or reject their application? when you approve or reject an applicant (or batch of applicants), whether or not they receive an email notification depends on two factors 1 the program level email settings for the program to which they are being approved or rejected, and 2 if the program level email settings are enabled, you can uncheck the option to send the email when approving or rejecting an applicant or batch of applicants what does it mean to nominate an applicant and will they get notified? brands use the nominate feature to narrow down the pool of applicants that they believe might be good fits for their program nominated applicants then show up in the nominated tab within the applicants section from there, nominated applicants can be approved, rejected, or put back into pending status applicants are not notified when they are nominated what is the process for creating a new contact manually? to create a contact manually, go to the contacts tab and click new contact fill in at least the required fields (first name and last name) and optionally assign them to a program managing contacts how do i filter and search for specific contacts? roster allows you to filter contacts by using different criteria such as program, application date, email address, social handle, or custom properties utilize the contacts tab, apply filters, and customize columns to find specific groups how do i know if an ambassador is engaged or not (e g opening emails, participating in campaigns, etc?) you can view an ambassador's engagement by viewing their contact detail page, including the timeline tab which shows a complete history of all emails sent, whether the emails were viewed, when they joined campaigns, drove referrals, etc can i send bulk emails to contacts? yes, you can send emails individually or in bulk from the contacts tab using the send emails feature, allowing you to manage communication efficiently \[5] can i tag contacts? yes! there are multiple ways to tag contacts in roster, both at the individual contact level and by bulk selecting from the contact search page managing contact tags involves creating, editing, and applying tags to categorize contacts efficiently navigate to brand settings, select contact tags, and use the interface to manage your tags how can i customize contact properties in roster? utilizing custom properties allows you to collect specific information you can create and manage these properties to filter and search contacts effectively navigate to properties from the more menu, then add or edit custom properties how can i delete a contact in roster? to delete a contact in roster navigate to the contacts section of your account locate and select the ambassador you want to remove click the three vertical dots next to their name choose " delete contact " from the dropdown menu you'll be prompted to confirm by typing " delete " before the contact is permanently removed this action is irreversible, so be sure you want to remove the contact before proceeding what happens if i want to access an ambassador’s account after it’s been deleted? once an ambassador is deleted, their data is permanently removed from roster and cannot be recovered deleted contacts no longer exist within the platform, and there is no way to look them up or retrieve their information before deleting an ambassador, we strongly recommend reviewing their profile and exporting any important data you may need for future reference for more help with managing contacts, please reach out to mailto\ support\@getroster com
