we have included a getting started checklist within the brand portal, designed for new users of the roster platform, whether they are starting the onboarding process or are new team members to an existing roster account this checklist aims to guide brands through the onboarding process and familiarize themselves with the platform efficiently the checklist is divided into four key sections core setup, program setup, integrations, and launch checklist as users complete activities within each section, they manually mark them as done to track progress this guide will walk you through the steps of utilizing the getting started checklist effectively video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hi everyone, this is caroline with roster and in this video i'm going to walk you through the getting started checklist \[00 05] okay, so, maybe you just started the onboarding process, maybe you're a new team member to the roster account the getting started checklist was created to help kind of guide our brands along the onboarding process and kind of getting familiar with roster \[00 24] so, you'll see it at the top right hand side of your screen, uhm, at the top, yeah, at the top right hand side of your kind of, uh, feature list and you'll see that 0 out of 4, that represents the four sections of the getting started checklist \[00 38] so, as you check things off and complete those sections, uhm, that number will become 1, 2, 3, and then 4 out of 4 okay, so when you're in the kitchen, getting started checklist, like i said, it's broke up into these four sections \[00 50] so, we have core setup, program setup, integrations, and launch checklist within each checklist, you'll see a certain number of activities that you'll have to complete \[00 59] uhm, once you complete this activity, you can mark it as done one thing to note is that the system will not automatically do that for you you do have to manually mark it as completed \[01 11] i'm and when you click on an activity, you'll see underneath this little black, uh, box that will hold, uhm, where you're supposed to go \[01 22] so, for example, we have here, upload the brand logo so, if we click that, it'll take us directly to brand settings where we need to upload our logo \[01 26] and as soon as that is done, we can check it off the core setup is probably the most important part if you are in the onboarding process \[01 34] we definitely recommend getting this done before you start before you have that first onboarding call uhm, so you can kind of go through these, check them off, or skip any that aren't applicable to you \[01 43] uhm, so maybe you're not going to invite any more team members you can skip that and you can always uncheck anything that you currently have checked \[01 50] uh, one other thing i want to touch on is in each section, you're going to see this, uh, little box over here that's going to hold docs and support \[02 00] let's talk, schedule time with us, and then have feedback these are going to, uhm, the docs and support is going to take you to our support site \[02 09] the confused let's talk is going to take you directly to our chat widget, so you can message our support team \[02 15] schedule time with us, that's how you schedule, you will email the cs email, and one of your, and your csm will reach out to you directly \[02 23] and then any feedback that you have, you have any feedback, you can again reach out to our support team, uhm, or leave comments below \[02 30] okay, so, core setup, again, this is everything we want to get done before onboarding gets started uhm, program setup, so, depending on what program template you choose, that's what's going to show up here \[02 44] so, if you remember when you're in the program template section, and you see this, compare all templates, there are certain things checked off \[02 52] whatever is checked off is going to show up under that program, uhm, setup checklist so, if you selected creators, for example, you're not going to have personal discounts, you're not going to have points, you're not going to have actions or milestones \[03 04] uhm, but we have ambassadors connected to our getting started checklist, which is why we have all of these different, uhm, options \[03 12] then, we have integrations this is just kind of an extension of those integrations so, the email domain, uhm, shopify tagging, not all of these, again, will be relevant to your brand, uh, but just want to ensure that we have the important things done \[03 27] lastly, we have the launch checklist so, this is what we're, we want you to complete before we officially launch the program \[03 35] so, signing up is a fake ambassador and then going through these different tutorials and, uhm, learning how to test these different features within roster \[03 44] so, you know, in the integrations program and core setup, this little black button would actually take you to where you need to go \[03 51] when you click, uhm, the black button under the launch checklist items, it will take you directly to a video which walks you through how to test all of these different features \[04 02] uhm, so, yeah, we definitely recommend, excuse me, going through the launch checklist before we officially get our program launched uh, and then one little fun thing is one of our csms has a cat here named clem, so our, uh, product team input clem and if you give her a little pet, she'll be thinking \[04 21] about a bird so, uhm, yeah, super fun, super cool uh, hopefully this was helpful if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to support at getrostered com, uhm, or you can contact your csm \[04 33] thank you step by step instructions
