PARTNERSHIP HUB
The Partnership Hub lets you request, track, and manage Meta partnership ads for your ambassadors' content — all inside Roster. When an ambassador tags or mentions your brand on Instagram, a partnership permission lets you boost that content as an ad from your own ad account, with the ambassador credited as a partner. The Partnership Hub is your system of record for who has given you permission, which posts are cleared to boost, and which top performers you still need to ask — so you never lose track of an agreement or have to hunt a creator down in Meta's tools.
If you've ever run creator "whitelisting" or branded-content/partnership ads through Meta, this is the same thing — it mirrors how the permission flow works in Meta today, brought inside Roster alongside the rest of your ambassador data.
Before you start
- Plan: The Partnership Hub is available on Growth, Pro, and Enterprise plans.
- Connection: Your brand's Facebook and Instagram accounts must be connected to Roster, using an Instagram professional (business or creator) account. See Connect Facebook & Instagram.
- Ambassador eligibility: An ambassador can grant partnership permission only if they use an Instagram professional account. Ambassadors on a personal account will need to switch before they can approve a request.
How partnership permissions work
There are two kinds of permission, and the Partnership Hub tracks both:
- Account-level permission — the ambassador authorizes your brand once, and you can boost any of their content that tags or mentions you. This is the most flexible option and the one to aim for with your best partners.
- Post-level permission — permission to boost one specific post. The ambassador either allows the boost on that post or shares a partnership ad code for it.
Roster keeps each permission's status in sync with Meta automatically, and you can refresh it at any time with the Sync button in the top right (it shows when it last synced).
The three tabs
The Partnership Hub is organized into three tabs that work together — the same partnerships viewed from different angles.
Content
Your ambassadors' brand-tagged Instagram and Facebook posts from the last 90 days, ranked by performance. Each post shows a status chip telling you what (if anything) you need to do before you can boost it:
- Boost-ready — you already have permission (account-level or for this post).
- Pending — a request or boost approval is in flight with the ambassador.
- Needs permission — no permission started yet.
From a post you can get permission, favorite it to a shortlist for quick filtering, and filter the grid by campaign, program, follower tier, and contact tags.
Partners
Every ambassador who already has an account-level partnership with your brand, with their status — Approved, Pending, Declined, or Revoked. Use the summary stats at the top to see active partnerships, pending requests, boost-ready posts, and your partnered content's EMV over the last 90 days. You can filter by ambassador, program, status, handle, contact tags, and follower tier, export the list, and re-request permission from anyone who declined or revoked.
Get permission
The ambassadors who are tagging your brand but haven't given you permission yet — your opportunity list. Roster ranks them by how worth-asking they are based on their posting history and performance, and flags whether each one is eligible to be asked right now or needs to fix their account first. Send a request to one ambassador, or select several and request in bulk. The moment you send a request, that ambassador moves over to the Partners tab as Pending.
Step-by-step instructions
Open the Partnership Hub
- Log in to the Roster Brand Portal.
- In the left-hand navigation, select Partnership Hub.
- If prompted, confirm which connected Instagram handle the hub should use.
Request permission from an ambassador
- Open the Get permission tab.
- Find the ambassador you want to partner with (the list is ranked by recommendation).
- Click the row to open it, then choose Send request. To ask several at once, select multiple ambassadors and use the bulk Request permission action.
- Add your message — this is where you describe the partnership (for example, compensation, campaign, or how long you'd like permission for). The ambassador sees this message with the request.
- Send the request. The ambassador now appears on the Partners tab as Pending.
What your ambassador sees
- The ambassador receives an email and a prompt in their Ambassador Portal, including your message.
- For account-level requests, they tap a one-tap link that takes them straight to the approval screen in Instagram.
- For post-level requests, they allow the boost on the post (or generate and share a partnership ad code).
- Once they approve, the status updates in Roster automatically — there's nothing for them (or you) to mark as done.
Boost a post as a partnership ad
- On the Content tab, find a post marked Boost-ready.
- Use Open Meta Hub to jump to Meta's Partnership Ads Hub / Ads Manager for that creator.
- Set up and launch the ad in Meta. Roster manages and tracks the *permission*; the ad itself runs in your Meta ad account.
Good to know
- Roster tracks permission, Meta runs the ad. The Partnership Hub is where you capture and keep permission agreements. You launch and manage the actual ad in Meta's Partnership Ads Hub / Ads Manager via the Open Meta Hub handoff.
- Ad spend and results aren't shown here. Because boosting happens in your Meta ad account, Roster can't show whether a post is currently being boosted or report ad spend, reach, or ROAS. The Content tab reflects permission readiness only.
- Granting permission doesn't publish anything new. Approving a partnership never posts on the ambassador's behalf — it only authorizes your brand to boost content they've already shared.
