pinning a post in a community channel makes sure important info stays front and center for your ambassadors instead of getting buried by new updates, pinned posts stick to the top of the channel, so every time ambassadors check in, they’ll see it first it’s a quick and easy way to keep key details visible and accessible! video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hello, in this video we are going to review how you can pin a post in a community channel essentially making sure that it stays at the top of the community channel, so it's the first post that ambassadors see when they jump into that channel \[00 15] sometimes you have information that, you know, shouldn't get lost in the mix this is where those pinned messages come into play \[00 21] so here, when you're in your post tab, within community, you can go to the right of the post and select the three dots over here here you can either choose to edit the post, delete the post, or pin the post \[00 35] here it'll show as a little safety pin to the left of the post title, and then you can see the post that are, um, pinned within a given channel \[00 46] that's a little bit about how to create a pin post easy peasy step by step instructions navigate to the community post tab access the community section from the main navigation click on the posts tab to view all posts within the community channel pin a post to a community channel locate the post you want to pin click on the three dots icon to the right of the post select pin post from the dropdown menu the pinned post will display a safety pin icon to the left of its title, indicating it is pinned to the top of the channel need help? if you need any additional assistance with with your roster account, feel free to contact our support team at support\@getroster com mailto\ support\@getroster com we're here to help!
