milestones are an essential feature on roster that allow brands to set up a tiered reward system for their ambassadors, similar to frequent flyer or credit card points ambassadors earn points by engaging in campaigns, completing actions, or bringing referrals, which they can then use to unlock better rewards unlike a cash out system, milestone points accumulate over time when brands set up a milestone series, they can specify different tiers and set how many points are needed to reach each tier this setup allows for an engaging and rewarding experience for ambassadors video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hi everyone, this is caroline from roster, and in this video, i'm gonna give you a high level overview of our feature, milestones \[00 08] okay, so i like to think of milestones very similarly to frequent flyer points, credit card points basically, in those instances, the more you spend, the better rewards you get \[00 19] here, it's the more points they earn by being engaging in campaigns, or actions, or bringing referrals, the better rewards they get \[00 28] the biggest difference is, this isn't a cash out system, this is a tiered system so instead of hitting, like, 200 points, and then, uhm, you start over, they could hit 200 points, and then earn 400 points, or 500 points, or however you want to set it up \[00 44] so when you go to the milestones series, this is where you can see uhm, your different milestones that you have set up \[00 51] one thing to know is, milestones are program wide and if you want to give your ambassadors any sort of points, you need to make sure that you have a milestone series live and ready to go \[01 01] uhm, otherwise those points won't exist okay, so, let's just click into this ambassador milestone series that i have set up \[01 09] as you can see here, we have all of these different columns labeled milestone series, and then it goes status, programs, how many milestone tiers there are, how many participants, so how many people have actively gotten points \[01 21] and then, if you have any, like, manual or custom product rewards, you'll see this needs fulfillment so, that's how we know how many people need to have that reward fulfilled \[01 30] you can also filter by program, uhm, if you would like or you can filter by category or by status of the, uh, milestone series \[01 39] and then, if you want to create a new one, you can select this big black button at the top here, and from there, you can create a new milestone series \[01 46] one thing that's important to know is you can't have a program in multiple milestone series they can only be in one \[01 53] but you can have more than one program in a milestone series okay, so when we click into the milestone series, this is where we're going to get the high level overview \[02 02] we'll have some different articles kind of walking you through the dashboard, the different tiers, how to create one, how to plan one, uh, but yeah, i just wanted you to kind of see that, and hopefully this article was helpful \[02 13] if you need any help, or if you have any other questions, you can reach out to support at getrostar com, or you can contact your csm \[02 20] okay, thank you step by step instructions navigate to the milestone series go to the milestones section to view different milestone series notice the columns labeled milestone series , status , programs , number of milestone tiers, participants, and pending rewards that need fulfillment filter and explore existing milestones if needed, filter milestone series by program category status create a new milestone series click the large black button at the top labeled create new milestone series remember a program can't be in multiple milestone series, but a series can include more than one program access and manage a specific milestone series click into the milestone series to see a high level overview explore the dashboard, view different tiers, and manage settings need help? if you need any additional assistance with with your roster account, feel free to contact our support team at support\@getroster com mailto\ support\@getroster com we're here to help!
