the milestone series worksheet is a helpful tool to map out your ambassador program and keep everything organized it helps you figure out how many points ambassadors can earn from campaigns, actions, and referrals, so you can build out clear tiers, set up rewards, and estimate how long it will take for ambassadors to level up this makes it easy to balance engagement, budgeting, and incentives use covering the milestone series worksheet and how you can use this when planning out your milestone series \[00 08] so, in the first area, in step 1, right here, you are going to find some variables so here's where you're going to set up your general parameters \[00 16] the first area here is where you're going to set up, um, how many points ambassadors will get for completing campaigns, and then how many campaigns, you plan on having a month, and then going down the list, same thing for actions, the average point amount for completing an action, the average actions \[00 32] you plan on having per month, and then here you'll find the area, so if you are utilizing referral points, you can map out how often, you can also include referral points when creating your milestone series and incorporate those into the timeline as well \[00 47] if you are doing a fixed amount referral value, so one referral equals five points, you can continue to use the fixed amount here \[00 54] if you instead are using percentage of sale, so they get 10% back in points, if they get a referral, then you can switch over here as well \[01 05] so by going into step two here, you're going to see the define milestone area so this is where we can set up the specific tiers you have within this first column, so you can increase it, you can only have three, whatever it might be per your milestone series, the point value for each of those tiers, \[01 24] the reward cost, so how much it might cost you as a brand to fulfill that, and then the value of that reward, so how much that product is typically valued at \[01 35] down here, you're going to see a total cost this first one underneath reward cost is going to show you how much you're going to be spending per ambassador, and then this number is going to show you the average value that each ambassador will get if they work through all of these milestones \[01 50] um, by adjusting this, you're going to see a few things change um, in step three is where we're going to see the most things change \[01 57] so, this is going to show you a timeline this is going to give you an estimate of how long an ambassador, it might take an ambassador to work through the milestone series if they're doing all of the parameters set here \[02 09] um, so it's a nice way to kind of gauge, uh, what, how quickly ambassadors might work through a milestone series \[02 15] so, here you can see maybe i might decrease this to 200 points this will change over here to show that they're going to unlock this broadening \[02 24] that's a lot quicker um, and vice versa, if i change some things over here, maybe i increase this one to 8, 800 you can see that it will change over here as well \[02 36] um, so this is a little bit about how you can use this milestone series worksheet to ensure that you have a full view of what your milestone series will entail, both per ambassadors and also, um, be able to get kind of a timeline of sorts \[02 51] this is also a really nice way to kind of map things out so you're aware of how many points you will probably want to have or restrict to within a month, um, to make sure you're giving ambassadors general parameters in step 1 define the point values for completing campaigns specify how many points ambassadors will receive per campaign determine the number of campaigns planned per month set the point values for actions specify the average points for completing an action determine the average number of actions planned per month configure referral points use a fixed value (e g , one referral equals five points) alternatively, use a percentage of sale (e g , 10% back in points per referral) define milestones in step 2 set up milestone tiers in the first column increase or decrease the number of tiers as needed assign a point value for each tier establish reward costs determine the cost to fulfill the reward for each tier specify the typical value of each reward review the total costs examine the reward cost per ambassador check the average value received by ambassadors completing all milestones analyze the timeline in step 3 observe the estimated timeline for ambassadors progressing through the milestone series based on the defined parameters adjust milestone point values to see how changes affect the timeline decrease point requirements to shorten the timeline increase point requirements to extend the timeline use the timeline as a gauge to ensure balanced point distribution, aiming for optimal engagement without overwhelming or under rewarding ambassadors
