what is the community feature in roster? the community feature in roster is designed to keep ambassadors engaged and connected by providing a space for sharing updates, starting conversations, and fostering an engaged group of ambassadors excited about your brand what are community channels? channels are similar to slack channels or separate forum groups you can control which ambassadors are able to access channels by adding one or more programs, or by adding individual ambassadors to create a new channel, navigate to the channels tab within the community feature and click on new channel you can set up channel details such as name, description, icon, and posting permissions can i create a channel where only we as the brand can post? yes! when setting up a channel, you can choose who has the ability to post in the channel your team or your team plus channel members regardless of who can post, channel members can always like and comment on channel posts how can i create posts in the community? to create a post, go to the post channel , click new post , and enter your text along with any images you can choose formatting options like bold or italics and decide whether to notify ambassadors about the post how can i manage and view posts in the community? after publishing a post, it will appear at the top of the post tab you can sort posts by status, author, channel, or pin status and review post details such as views, likes, comments, and last update time can ambassadors comment on and like posts in community? yes, ambassadors can like and comment on posts even if they do not have posting permissions in the channel this feature allows them to engage with the content shared by your team or peers for further assistance with the community feature in roster, please contact mailto\ support\@getroster com
