Finding all orders associated with a specific discount code in Roster is a simple process that provides detailed insights into how the code was used. This guide will help you locate orders linked to a discount code, view order details, and export the results if needed.
Step-by-step instructions
Locate the discount code
- Copy the discount code you want to investigate to your clipboard.
- Navigate to More > Discounts in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Search for the code within the relevant discount rule by pasting it into the search field.
- If the code exists, note the associated ambassador and usage details.
- If no results appear, the code is not found in Roster.
Search for orders using the discount code
- Navigate to Reports > All orders in the left-hand navigation menu.
- Open the Discount code filter and paste the code into the field.
- If orders are found, they will be displayed in the results.
- If no orders are found, Roster has no record of the code being used in an order.
View order details
- Click on an order from the search results to open the Order Details drawer.
- Review the following information:
- Order details
- Ambassador attribution (if applicable)
- Referral rewards (if applicable)
Export orders associated with the discount code (optional)
- In the All orders report, apply any additional filters (e.g., date range) as needed.
- Click Export to download a CSV file of the matching orders.
- The file will contain all relevant order details for further analysis or record-keeping.
