connecting your x account to roster enables you to effortlessly pull in posts where your brand is mentioned and manage social campaign requirements that require brand mentions this integration is crucial for tracking brand interactions on x and ensuring your ambassadors meet campaign goals follow these steps to connect your x account to roster video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, we're going to connect our x account to roster and you would want to do this if you want to have roster pull in posts that people mention your brand on x \[00 12] and if you want to do social campaign requirements that require the ambassadors to mention your brand on x so to get to the settings, we're going to click on the brand logo on the bottom left of the navigation, then click integrations \[00 27] and from here, you can see there's an option to connect our x account you just need to be logged into x as a admin on your account \[00 36] i don't actually know if there even is anything but an admin but send it right so when the dialog on the x com comes up you're going to click authorize app \[00 47] it will authorize roster to make api calls on your behalf and you will be redirected back to roster and you should see a success message and and then you will see that x is connected with the option to disconnect \[01 01] it's really that simple if you get stuck though on something, maybe you bump into an issue at edge case, we're here to help, so shoot us an email, supporteketroster com, and in the meantime, have a great day, thanks step by step instructions log into your x account ensure you are logged into your brand's x account in your browser before starting the integration process access the integrations section in roster click on your brand logo located in the bottom left navigation click on integrations to be directed to the social profiles page connect to x click connect next to the x option on the social profiles page you will be redirected to x to approve the connection request click authorize app to authorize roster's x app confirm connection in roster after authorizing permissions, you will be redirected back to roster if the connection is successful, your x account handle will appear on the social profiles page if there is an error, an error message will display need help? if you need any additional assistance with with your roster account, feel free to contact our support team at mailto\ support\@getroster com we're here to help!
