Allow multiple quantities of products

setting up product rewards or product seeding rewards in roster allows you to offer ambassadors the flexibility to select multiple quantities or variants of the same product this is especially useful when providing ambassadors with a spending allowance previously, ambassadors could only select one instance of a product, which posed challenges for brands whose ambassadors wanted to select two or more of the same product with this product reward option, you can enable ambassadors to choose multiple quantities or variants, enhancing their shopping experience video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm gonna walk you through how you can set up your product rewards or your product seating rewards to allow ambassadors to order more than one of a given product, or maybe to allow them to have multiple variants of the same product in their order \[00 20] this is a nice feature if you're giving ambassadors maybe like asian dropping allowance, like some brands do, say like $200 a month that they get to go spend, um, previously in the product fulfillment, when they went to go select their products, they could only choose one instance of a product \[00 37] we had a lot of brands mention that their ambassadors know what they want sometimes they want to order multiple of the same things, especially true for like the brands who are doing consumer product goods, supplements, things like that \[00 47] we'll see you so we have a new capability in roster we want to show you i'm going to come into our campaign where i have a product reward already set up \[00 57] scroll down to the product rewards and i'm going to come into edit the reward and i have this product group here where i've set it up that they get to choose three products from this collection \[01 09] now the collection only has four items in it, but a lot of brands will have a collection that has dozens or more items and they want them to be able to select a few of them \[01 19] so we do have now this new section right here called multiple selection of same product and it's unchecked so i'm going to show you from an ambassador's perspective what that currently looks like \[01 29] let me refresh this page here this is an ambassador who has completed the campaign and they now get to come in and redeem the reward \[01 39] so here they see that they get to select up to three products from this group when they come into this one, they can add it \[01 46] and now it just shows as added and for some scenarios that actually works great this product right here happens to have variants \[01 56] um, but as soon as they add one of them, then the entire product is added so so you, you get the idea \[02 02] so now they have one more product they get to select but if they wanted to choose, like a different variant of this, uh, it's not currently possible \[02 10] so let's come back into the product reward and we're gonna select this box and now this will let them select multiple quantities or variants of the same product \[02 19] so let's save there and now when we come back back into the ambassador experience, let me refresh that to get the updated view, and we'll come back into their reward redemption flow, and i will click onto this right here \[02 40] so, now there's a couple things that are different first of all, there's a new quantity option, so i can select two here, and i can add the, umm, raspberry small \[02 49] umm, there's now a new shopping cart icon on the top right that they can click on, and it will open up the cart and show them what they've put in their cart so far, and they can actually change the quantity directly from here, or remove the item entirely \[03 05] and then, umm, they can add, they can select a different variant to add good and that would complete the group because i have three variants \[03 18] i can, umm, click a view cart let's say i only want one of those after all that just feels like a regular shopping cart experience, and i can come in here and add this product as well \[03 30] so, they can add multiple, umm, variant, or excuse me, multiple, umm options from the same product where they can add multiple items from the same product, or, or variant, and there's a much better shopping cart, like, experience for them now, and they just go ahead and proceed to the shipping, and \[03 48] everything is as it was before so, hopefully this adds a lot more flexibility to you and your ambassadors when it comes to setting up product seating and product rewards \[03 59] and as usual, this comes from, from a lot of feedback from our brands, we listen carefully when you have requests, so never hesitate to reach out to us and let us know what you would like to have in roster \[04 09] alright, so yeah step by step instructions add or edit an existing product reward navigate to campaigns or milestones in the left hand navigation menu select the campaign or milestone where the product reward is configured click edit to modify the campaign or milestone scroll down to the rewards section and locate the existing product reward click edit reward to open the reward builder enable multiple selection of the same product open the product group for which you want to enable multi selection locate the multiple selection of same product option check the box to allow ambassadors to select multiple quantities or variants of the same product click save to apply the changes ambassador redemption experience ambassadors select products from the reward group, with an updated option to choose multiple quantities or variants they can now see a shopping cart icon at the top right to manage their selections from here they can adjust quantities or remove items directly from the cart once selections are complete, ambassadors proceed to shipping, similar to a regular shopping cart experience need
