Add product limit overrides

adding product limit overrides in roster allows you to customize the selection limit for different groups of ambassadors, giving you more control and flexibility over your ambassador programs this feature works similarly to commission overrides, using contact tags to adjust selection limits for products within campaigns or milestones you can set a higher or lower selection limit for certain ambassadors and create various tiers such as vip, top earners, etc , each with its unique override, enhancing management of your ambassador budget and rewards video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm going to show you how you can add product limit overrides to one of your product seating or product rewards so that you can allow certain ambassadors to have a higher or lower, uh, selection limit than everybody else \[00 17] this is, uh, oftentimes helpful if you're setting up a budget like a monthly budget that you want them to spend from or you're giving them a reward \[00 24] and you want them, most people to pick, say, like one or two items, but other people, you want to give them a little bit of a boost and select, maybe two or three items \[00 34] so this will allow you to have more control over that and it works similarly to how we do the commission overrides by using contact tags \[00 44] so i'm going to come into one of my campaigns that has a pro product reward this works just the same with milestones that have product rewards \[00 53] and i'm going to edit the campaign settings and come into the campaign brief and then go to the rewards section \[01 02] and i see that i have a product reward so i'm going to click edit reward and then from the product reward wizard here, i'm going to select the product thank you \[01 12] i'm going that i want to enable limit overrides for and you can see there's a little collapsed section here that says limit override \[01 19] if i expand that section, there's an option for me to add an override and that reveals a new row with two fields \[01 27] the contact tag and this is the, um, the tag that contacts need to have in order to get this override \[01 33] ride and for this specific product group it's limited by $100 in value so they can order up to $100 and i'm going to set this override to be $200 for my vip ambassadors \[01 50] once i've made that selection, i'll click save but also note that if you wanted to provide additional overrides, you could \[01 58] so you wanted to have a vip vip and give them $400 so you can get pretty creative there but i'm going to go ahead and click save for that vip override \[02 09] then i can click done for the product reward and now i'm going to come into the campaign rewards tab so i can see the ambassadors that have already unlocked some of these rewards \[02 23] and for this the product reward, i'm going to filter by not redeemed and then it looks like i have two contacts here who have earned this product reward, but haven't redeemed it \[02 34] so if i click on to one of them, uhm, take note that that contact, this contact i'm looking at doesn't have the vip tag \[02 42] so let's go ahead and simulate logging in as this specific ambassador and then we'll scroll down to the reward section, i will click redeem \[02 52] and then notice in here that it is prompting me that i can add up to $100 in products so that's expected \[03 00] uh, since $100 is the default product limit but now, if i come back to her profile in the brand portal, and i select the vip tag, now this contact, jamie, is tag, with the vip tag \[03 14] and i'm logged back in as the contact we can now see what the new behaviors like so i'll go to the reward section, and i'll click redeem for the reward that they've earned \[03 26] and now you can see here that it says select up to $200 in products so the override is now in effect \[03 34] and i can add, umm, $100 worth of product, and i can decide i want this one, and add another $50 \[03 42] and if i look in the shopping cart, you can see here that i've essentially added, uh, $250 so far $147 specifically \[03 52] and i can even add one more product here okay and now if i go to my car, i can see that i have, um, $196 99 of rewards added to the cart, which is, uh, within that $200 limit \[04 10] so i could go ahead and proceed to shipping and check out so this is a great feature if you want to add a little bit of flexibility or offer certain ambassadors, uh, a higher value, or maybe even some ambassadors a lower value \[04 24] you that are underperforming, but it gives you some more flexibility on the products that they are able to redeem hopefully this is a helpful feature to your brand
