branded swag, overstock items, or limited edition perks, roster allows you to seamlessly integrate these items into an automated product reward by utilizing multiple product groups within a reward, you can let ambassadors select their main product while also giving them the option to claim additional perks this guide will walk you through adding swag or extra items to a product reward in roster video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough 0 00 hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm going to walk you through how you can add some extra something to a product reward that you're giving to your ambassadors 0 09 oftentimes, this could be in the form of some branded swag, company swag, uhm, some, uh, maybe some overstock products that you have, and you're already planning on giving them a product reward, but you'd love to be able to throw in something else 0 23 and the way we build products, product rewards is extremely flexible you can have multiple groups of products that your ambassadors can select from, and each group can be classified on its own in terms of how much they can get and which products they can get 0 36 so, let's go ahead, and in this case, we're going to open up this snowboard reward i'm going to edit this 0 42 it's linked to one of my ugc campaigns and you can see here in the reward, award builder that i have the option to add some swag or another product group 0 54 so, all i need to do is click this add button, and it will give me the option to add products or add collections 1 03 in this case, i just want to add a single product and i have a trucker hat that we have for our brand, and i want to add, that 1 14 and the ambassador is going to be able to pick from one of four different colors that we have in this hat 1 20 so, i can change the name of this product group to, umm, swag, trucker hat and it's set up to just let them pick 1 34 there's only one product that all they can do is basically, just pick one so, umm, i'm going to let them pick one here 1 40 and if i wanted to give them two, i could select that right there but in this case, i just want them to be able to pick this one trucker hat 1 50 so, i'm going to click save and now what i have is a product that has the snowboard reward and they can choose one of two snowboards 2 00 they're, there's supplements where they can choose one of four from a collection and now i have this swag trucker hat 2 07 it doesn't have to be swag just, in this case, that's what i want to call it so, so, now when an ambassador goes to redeem the reward, they'll be able to pick something out of all three of these different groups 2 21 and that's a great way to throw in some expe next throw items into the reward that you're going to be sending them without putting any additional effort on your part or your team's part 2 32 it simply just needs to be in your shopify store and then it can be fulfilled just like any other product 2 37 and there's a separate video you can watch on how to add hidden items let's say you don't want this hat to be listed in your shopify store 2 46 um, check out that video for how you can add, add hidden items from your store into a product reward so that the general public can't have access to those, but your ambassadors will be able to, uh, redeem them when they're completing their reward by step instructions create or edit an existing product reward navigate to campaigns or milestones in the left hand navigation menu select the campaign or milestone where the product reward is configured click edit to modify the campaign or milestone scroll down to the rewards section and locate the existing product reward click edit reward to open the reward builder add a swag or extra product group in the reward builder, click the add button to add another product group select to add products or collections search for the product(s) or collection(s) you want to add from your store rename the product group to indicate the type of product group (e g , "brand swag", "ambassador perks") click save to finalize the new product group ambassador experience ambassadors who qualify for the reward will see the additional swag options during redemption they can select their primary reward and also choose from the swag product group the reward is fulfilled just like any other shopify order if the swag is a hidden product , ensure it is configured correctly in shopify (see "adding hidden products" guide) verify order processing and fulfillment navigate to the rewards section in roster to track redemptions select a redeemed reward to view the ambassador's selections click on the shopify order link to open it in your shopify admin fulfill the order as usual, ensuring all
