Add multiple product groups to a reward

video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough 0 00 hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, we're going to look at how we can add some additional benefits to an automated product reward in roster that's connected to your shopify store 0 12 so, let's take a look at this example where, in a previous video, we added a product reward to this ugc campaign 0 19 so, when they complete the campaign, they're able to claim a particular reward so, we can open up the campaign, click edit, and go down to the reward, and there's the reward for the, completing the campaign, it's, it looks like it's a snowboard reward 0 37 let's go ahead and click edit reward, and when it pulls up the reward builder here, we can see that there is one product group in this 0 48 that means when they redeem the reward, they'll be able to get whatever is in this group right here, whatever they're entitled to 0 55 but let's say that we want to add an additional product group to it let's go ahead and look, uhm, down here at the bottom it says add some swagger and additional product group, so i'm going to click add, and then i'm going to select a collection in this case, so add collection, and i've already created 1 12 an ambassador supplements collection, so let's go ahead and start searching for that, and when it pulls up from the shopify store, i can see that right here and i can click add 1 21 okay, and then i can rename this to supplements, click save, okay, and i'm also just going to you know, limit them by the number of products that they can get from this collection to just one 1 41 so, go ahead and click save okay, so, now this product reward has two separate distinct groups in it it has the products that we added from the snowboard collection, or actually they weren't collection, it was just individual products that we added 1 59 and then we, we added another group called supplements, which lets them pick one item from this collection and so this collection, the, the big difference between adding products specifically like we've done here versus adding a shopify collection is that you can then go to your shopify store and modify 2 19 that collection at any time and when somebody goes to redeem the reward, they'll see the products that you've made available in the collection 2 27 whereas with the product reward specifically right here, they'll only ever be able to shop from the products that you specifically add in there 2 35 so you can be very specific with the product selection or you can be keep it more open with the collection and then just modify the collections in the backend in your shopify store 2 47 so now when an ambassador comes in, to redeem their reward, they'll have a slightly more exciting experience because you're going to give them the ability to redeem from both the groups 3 01 so let's go ahead and just take a look at what that looks like um, we can come in to an ambassador 3 07 we'll log in as the ambassador and we're just going to complete this campaign for them, which we'll do will unlock the reward 3 16 okay, here it is so we will join the campaign and go to the requirements tab and it looks like we just need to upload an image 3 25 so we're going to upload an image here and now we've completed the campaign if i come back to the overview, i'll see the option here to redeem the reward i would also see that option 3 39 oops logged out of the contact i would also see the option if i came, if i was the ambassador on the reward section on the home page or clicking on the rewards tab, i'll see in the awarded section that i have now been awarded this and i can click redeem reward now i see that i get a pick between two 4 00 different prizes product groups so here's the first group i'm going to pick this that product group is done and now it looks like i get to select an item from this group 4 12 so i'm going to pick that and now it's done so they would then just need to complete the shipping information and confirm the final step 4 20 once they do that, then the order will be sent to your shopify store and it will show up as an order ready to be fulfilled and they will have the ambassador within roster will have a tracking link to be able to track that or the order status just like as if they would have purchased that on your store 4 38 , but they didn't have to go anywhere but right within sight of the roster portal that they log into and you don't have to go back and forth over email on what they want to get for their reward 4 49 it's just all done right select the campaign or milestone containing the existing reward select the milestone or campaign where you want to set up the reward if there is an existing reward (e g , a gift card), click remove to delete it otherwise, click add reward > automated product reward add an additional product group scroll to the bottom of the reward builder and click add choose one of the following options add products manually select individual products add collection select a shopify collection to allow ambassadors to choose from all products within that collection if adding a collection search for and select the desired collection from your shopify store (e g , "ambassador supplements") ensure the collection is properly configured in shopify to include the correct products name the new product group for clarity (e g , "supplements") set limits on the product group example allow ambassadors to select one item from this group click save to finalize the new product group publish and test the reward complete any additional edits to the campaign or milestone publish the campaign or milestone to make the reward active log in as an ambassador to test the reward redemption process complete the campaign or milestone requirements to unlock the reward verify that the ambassador can select items from each product group ensure the checkout flow works seamlessly, sending the order to your shopify store manage and fulfill orders navigate to the rewards section in the left hand navigation menu to track reward redemptions select the relevant reward to view ambassadors who have redeemed it for shopify orders, click the order number to open it in your shopify admin fulfill the order as usual and ensure the ambassador has tracking information understand the difference between product groups and collection groups individual products ambassadors can only choose from the specific products you manually add to the reward shopify collections ambassadors can select from all products included in
