actions in roster are akin to bite sized campaigns that ambassadors can complete to earn points these tasks can be simple requests like leaving a review, following on social media, or creating social content actions are program wide, meaning all ambassadors in a program can participate, and only points can be awarded for their completion it's necessary to have a milestone series live so that collected points have a purpose for redemption the actions section in roster enables you to manage various elements such as action name, points, status, and requires approval for submissions here's a guide on how to navigate and utilize the actions section video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hi everyone, this is caroline from roster, and in this video, i'm gonna go over actions okay, so, what are actions? actions are kind of like bite sized campaigns \[00 12] they're one off things that you can ask your ambassadors to do, uhm, such as leave a review, uh, follow you on social media, or create some sort of social content \[00 24] actions can only be rewarded in points, and they are program wide so, unlike campaigns, you cannot filter people out of actions, uhm, and you cannot create actions for only specific people in your program \[00 39] everyone who's in the program will have access to the actions, and they will receive points for completing the actions we cannot reward them with product or anything else \[00 48] so, if you are going to have actions live, please make sure you have a milestone series live and ready to go, so those points have somewhere to be redeemed \[00 55] okay, so when you come into the actions section, uh, you're going to notice all of these different columns it's broken up into the action name, points, status, program, submissions, and then those that need approval \[01 09] at the top, you can also search for actions you can filter by category you can by the program that they're in \[01 13] you can also search by category, and you can search by status um, when you want to create a new action, you can click this black new action button here at the top right hand side of the screen, and this is where our action templates are housed \[01 27] um, i will have a couple other articles kind of walking through how to build out an action, how to manage submissions, all of those things, so feel free to check those out as well \[01 36] um, but yeah, if you have any questions in regards to actions or getting them set up, uh, you can reach out to support at getrostered com or you can contact your csm \[01 45] okay, thank you step by step instructions access the actions section log in to the roster brand portal navigate to the actions section in the left hand menu review the displayed columns such as action name , points , status , program , submissions , and needs approval search and filter actions use the search bar at the top to find specific actions by name filter actions by category , program , or status using the dropdown filters create a new action click on the new action button at the top right hand corner choose from various action templates to set up a new action follow additional guides on building and managing actions for detailed instructions ensure integration of actions with milestones confirm that a milestone series is live to ensure points can be redeemed regularly monitor action submissions and approvals additional support resources for queries regarding action setup, reach out to roster support at support\@getrostered com contact your customer success manager for personalized assistance need help? if you need any additional assistance with with your roster account, feel free to contact our support team at mailto\ support\@getroster com we're here to help!
