Different milestone completion behaviors

when configuring milestone completion behaviors within roster, you have several options to determine what happens once an ambassador completes a milestone series these options provide flexibility on how you would like your ambassador program to progress after reaching the final milestone below is an overview of the available milestone completion behaviors you can choose from video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hi everyone, this is caroline with roster, and in this video, i'm gonna walk you through the different milestone completion behaviors \[00 08] okay, so you've begun setting up your milestone series, or maybe it's already live, but you're not sure how you want it to continue \[00 15] so i want to walk you through kind of your different options so you're gonna go in to edit your milestone series, and as you saw when you click on the milestone series, you'll see this big black button at the top right hand side of your screen \[00 27] when you click that, you can go in and edit things one important thing to know, if the milestone series is live, there are certain things you cannot edit, but you can edit the participation completion behavior \[00 39] so we have three options here one is remain at the final milestone this means that as soon as your ambassador hits whatever the last tier is, they were just continue to earn points, but they won't earn any more rewards \[00 51] this is super popular if you're just kind of setting up the milestone series for the first time, maybe you don't know what you want them to do \[00 58] um, so you can definitely do this the only thing to know is you may have some ambassadors who could end up with higher point value and no rewards to redeem \[01 06] the second most common one is to repeat the milestone series, so basically how this works as soon as they hit whatever that last tier is, um, depending on how many repeats you set up, they can then repeat the milestone series and work through it again \[01 21] so they'll just start over from zero and then earn points again completing campaigns, actions, or potentially earning referral points you can either choose unlimited repeats or you can choose up to a certain number of repeats \[01 33] so if we chose, let's say, we want them to do, uh, two repeats and we click save, um, then you can see when you go into your participants, uh, how many more options your participants have or how many more times \[01 48] so we see this little one to the left of the silver or the current milestone this means that they can go through it at least one more time as they're currently working through it on their first \[02 00] uh, so then if we click edit, we go back to the participation completion behavior our last option is advanced to another program \[02 07] so some brands, they may start out and their ambassadors just earn referral points, and then they want them to advance into a commission program \[02 15] so if you select this option, you just have to have the program set up that you want um, so for example, let's say i wanted my ambassadors to advance to an influencer program \[02 24] and then just making sure you have the manually added to program emails set up and ready to go this can be set up in your program settings under the recruitment section \[02 33] um, and we have a whole separate help article on how to edit that and, uh, that email in general so if you set this up, it means that as soon as they hit that final tier, they'll get whatever the reward is, and then they will actually move over into this new program \[02 50] receive the email, and then receive whatever perks come with that program so yeah, that was milestone completion behaviors um, hopefully that was navigate to your milestone series in the roster dashboard click the big black button located at the top right corner of the screen to enter the edit mode while editing, note that certain items cannot be modified if the milestone series is already live however, you can adjust the completion behavior choose a completion behavior under participation completion behavior , select one of the following options remain at the final milestone ambassadors continue to earn points without additional rewards once they reach the final milestone this option is useful if you are unsure about subsequent steps repeat the milestone series ambassadors restart the series and earn points again you can set it to unlimited repeats or specify a number of repeats advance to another program ambassadors transition into a new program once they reach the final milestone ensure the new program is set up and the relevant emails are configured under program settings > recruitment apply the desired option and click save verify participant settings go to your list of participants to view progression options check indicators next to the current milestone to understand the number of available repeats (if
