Custom referral link parameter

by default, roster uses the rstr query string parameter in your ambassadors' referral links this parameter helps us uniquely identify which ambassador's link was clicked and attribute sales accordingly for instance, if an ambassador has a smart link like https //rstr co/bellenutrition/amanda it will typically redirect to a url on your website such as https //bellenutrition com/?rstr=amanda for most brands, the default rstr parameter works perfectly however, we understand that some brands may have specific needs or existing systems that utilize a different query string parameter for referral tracking (e g , ref, aff id, code, etc ) if your brand requires the use of a custom parameter instead of the default rstr , roster can accommodate this to discuss changing your referral link parameter, please contact our support team at mailto\ support\@getroster com our team will work with you to understand your requirements, configure the custom parameter for your account, and outline any next steps you may need to take to ensure seamless tracking
