community is your go to space in roster for keeping ambassadors engaged and connected it’s where you can share updates, start conversations, and build a real sense of community among your ambassadors whether you’re announcing new products, running discussions, or just keeping everyone in the loop, this feature helps you create an active, engaged group that stays excited about your brand video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hello, in this video we are going to be doing a quick overview of the community feature the community feature is going to be your go to space for keeping ambassadors engaged, getting them connected by sharing updates, creating discussion topics, or driving engagement \[00 16] this makes it super easy for you to do that the channels tab over here, think of it as like a group chat or a private facebook group \[00 24] you can create dedicated spaces for different topics, like product launches, ambassador only discussions, or maybe some exclusive brand updates within channels, you can also choose who can post, so you have the ability to manage whether or not just your team members are posting, or if you're going to \[00 41] be encouraging ambassadors to create their own posts as well regardless, even if you do click the team members only tab, ambassadors can still like and comment, they just can't create posts within the channel \[00 52] um, going back here, within the post area, this is where you can create these announcements or discussions, ask questions, get some feedback, keep them updated \[01 04] you can also include text, um, and images down here, um, and make sure that, you know, everyone's getting the messages that they should be in addition, you can also make sure that ambassadors are getting notified via email any time you do create a post, but they'll also see a little notification bubble \[01 23] on their side as well so that's a quick rundown of community it's all about better communication, stronger engagement, and creating a more engaged ambassador program \[01 34] be sure to check out our other videos, step by step guides, on setting up different channels, managing engagement, and creating some posts \[01 41] if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us thank you step by step instructions access the community feature navigate to the community tab in the roster brand portal familiarize yourself with the layout, including channels and the post area create and manage channels click on channels to view or create different groups for discussion use the channels to organize conversations around specific topics like product launches, ambassador only discussions, or exclusive updates decide on posting settings select whether only team members can post or if ambassadors are encouraged to post remember that even with restricted posting, ambassadors can still like and comment on posts create posts and share updates navigate to the post area craft announcements, discussion topics, or questions to engage ambassadors include text and images as needed ensure that ambassadors are notified opt to send email notifications for new posts ambassadors will also see a notification bubble on their portal enhance ambassador engagement use the community space to ask questions and gather feedback keep ambassadors updated with the latest information from your brand encourage interaction within the community to build stronger connections explore additional resources review other videos and step by step guides available for more detailed instructions on setting up channels managing engagement creating effective posts next steps community channels need help? if you need any additional assistance with with your roster account, feel free to contact our support team at mailto\ support\@getroster com we're here to help!
