accessing and customizing your brand's dashboard in roster allows you to efficiently manage your ambassador programs by tracking key performance metrics the dashboard offers a set of default widgets that display data from all active programs over a selected date range users can fully customize these widgets, adding new ones or altering existing setups to suit their specific needs this flexibility enables brands to focus on the most relevant metrics and organize their dashboard to enhance their workflow and decision making process video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm going to quickly walk you through how you can get the most out of your brand's dashboard \[00 07] so, to access the dashboard, you simply click on the dashboards in the left navigation and then select brand performance and this will bring up a dashboard that shows you a combined set of metrics for all of your active programs based on the date range that's selected \[00 22] by default, that's typically the last 30 days and it will show all programs so, there's a default set of, uhm, widgets that come with your account when you first get set up \[00 32] and the good thing is, is that this is fully customizable so, if you don't like any of these, uhm, particular widgets or the way that they're grouped together, or even the way they're displayed, you can simply click on customize \[00 46] and then that will put you into your edit mode and when you're in edit mode, you have the option in this left hand panel of choosing different types of metrics that you want to show on your dashboard \[00 59] so, if you wanted to, for example, let's see here do we have one for actions completed? performance oh, yep, there's actions completed \[01 10] i think a lot of them are on here first time logins, new customers maybe we don't have the new customers widget on there \[01 17] oh, we do i think we've actually put most of them on there, which is cool but, um, also means that if you decide to remove anything, you know where to get them \[01 24] but to add something new, you just simply drag it over oops, i didn't drag there we go drag it over and drop it to where you want it \[01 34] so, once you have the widget on there, you can change if you see this little dot, dot, dot, more menu at the, um, to the right of the title and click on that, there's a few options here as well \[01 45] you can duplicate the card, you can remove it, and then you can change the card size not every, um, type supports the card size change, but if you, um, see the option to toggle between small and medium, that's what that's for \[02 00] and then you have the option for several of them of choosing between a column chart and a leaderboard so, the leaderboard is available on some of them, and it will show you the top five ambassadors for that particular metric \[02 15] and, let's see here, the column chart, you can, um, switch between small and medium and, like we had there, if i change it back to medium, and then if i duplicate it, it would add a second one next to it \[02 32] so, let's say i wanted to see the actual data to the left, and then i wanted to see a leaderboard to the right, but for the same metrics, i could do that \[02 41] oops, there we go and then, while it's in edit mode, obviously, this is just fake data, so it's not going to be your real data \[02 48] so, that's how you add widgets there's one more feature of the dashboard i wanted to point out, and that is the ability to have groups \[02 54] so, this top group right here is called overall health, and you can see this is an edit field, so you can just edit that \[03 00] and then, if you click the more menu for a group, there's the option of adding a new section or group above or below it \[03 07] you can duplicate the whole section, and then you can reorganize all of the sections on the page so, if i wanted to put the overall social engagement first, i could do that, and then it will update to reflect those changes \[03 20] if you like the changes you've made, you can click save dashboard, and it will save the changes, otherwise you can click cancel, and it will revert them and go back to the way they were \[03 30] so, that's just a quick overview of the dashboard, oh, just one more thing, actually you can turn on or off whatever you want to do \[03 37] more programs, so if you do want to just get a quick glimpse of a single program, you can toggle through those, and it will give you the overall, uhm, view for just one of the programs that you select \[03 49] so, let's see, go back to selecting all of these, and i did want to repopulate those okay, looks like we need to fix that issue \[04 01] so, hopefully, if you're looking at this, we'll have fixed the issue that switching oh, there we go hm wonder why those weren't populating \[04 09] well, it's working now you saw nothing uhm, okay, that's it for now thanks, guys step by step instructions access the brand performance dashboard click on dashboards in the left hand navigation menu select brand performance to view a combined set of metrics for all active programs the dashboard will display data based on the selected date range, typically the last 30 days customize dashboard widgets click customize to enter edit mode use the left hand panel to choose different types of metrics to display on your dashboard to add a widget drag the desired widget and drop it into place on the dashboard click the ··· menu to the right of a widget title to duplicate the widget remove the widget change the card size (some types allow toggling between small and medium) select between column chart and leaderboard views for eligible widgets use sections to organize your dashboard identify sections on the dashboard, such as overall health click the ··· (more) menu for a section to add a new section above or below the current one duplicate the entire section reorganize sections by dragging them into place edit the section name directly within the section header field save or revert dashboard changes review your customized dashboard layout click save dashboard to keep your changes click cancel to revert changes and return to the previous setup view metrics for individual programs toggle program selection to switch between viewing data for individual programs or all programs select a single program to see its specific overall metrics switch back to all programs to repopulate the comprehensive dashboard view need help?
