managing your brand settings in roster is crucial for streamlining your ambassador program and ensuring that your brand's information, such as name, logo, and currency, is accurately reflected across roster's platform this guide will walk you through the available settings under the brand info tab, detailing how to access them and the significance of each setting video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey there, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm going to walk you through some of the brand settings that you have available to you as the brand for your roster account \[00 08] so to get to your brand settings, we're going to click on your logo down here and the name of your brand, the brand name \[00 13] so in this case, i'm going to click on bell nutrition, and then in the little flyout menu, click on brand settings and when the brand settings page opens up, you'll notice some information \[00 23] we're going to be focusing on just on this brand info tab for this video so you're going to see your brand name \[00 28] that's used in a few places when ambassadors log into the ambassador portal, they'll see your brand name and then in the email footer, you have the option of putting in a tag, a little email token, which would have your brand name \[00 43] and the same goes for your brand logo that's going to be also displayed in the brand portal logo when somebody logs in as, as an ambassador, as well, you can put that in your email footers \[00 54] well, anywhere in your email, but it's meant to go in your footers so that's what the brand name and brand logo are for \[00 59] the social reach calculation, we recently switched all accounts over to the enhanced social reach so we're just basically keeping this setting visible for a period of time \[01 10] so when you watch this, it might not even be here that's just to let you know that the social reach is calculated based on the actual reach data we get from social networks, if provided by them \[01 20] and if it's not provided, then roster uses a formula to come up with a proxy or an estimated, estimated social reach \[01 28] brand currency is something that is also not editable right here if you need to change your brand currency to anything other than the default, which is united states dollar, then you can just reach out to support and we can work with you on that \[01 44] there's a number of things that we need to help do on that if you need to make a switch, but it's no problem at all \[01 49] um, and then lastly, the brand handle, this is also read only, and this displays what your brand's handle currently is \[01 58] in this case, it's bell nutrition and the brand handle is used in two distinct places it's used in, um, ambassador's referral links if you're using our smart links feature, and it's used in magic links when the ambassadors are given a link to log into their account \[02 14] so let me just show you real quickly what these two, um, what your brand handle looks like in context so, i'm going to come over to an ambassador's profile, and this ambassador's profile, this ambassador is in a program that has smart links enabled \[02 28] so you can see here, her referral link is roster co slash bellnutrition this is the brand handle right here so this is where your brand name shows up in your ambassador's referral links and then this last part, ellen, is so that's how a, a smart link, a referral link that's using smart links will \[02 53] appear with the brand handle and then let's go ahead and log in as this ambassador uhm, so when she logs in, she would see that referral link right there, and you can see that brand handle is, is right there front and center in those links \[03 08] okay, and then secondly, eh, the, uh, brand handle will show up in ambassador's magic links, so i'm going to come to the timeline because i sent this ambassador an email with their magic link, so i could show you here \[03 21] so here is the magic link, and this is a url that is roster link slash, and then the brand handle, and then their magic link code, and this will uniquely identify which ambassador's magic link this is, and it will log them into the ambassador portal without needing a username and password \[03 42] so these are intended to be only for the ambassador, they never would want to share this publicly that's why it's got a different domain here, and it doesn't have any identifiable information that it's them \[03 55] so you definitely don't want to share that this email also highlights the brand of the name, uh, oops, brand name showing up in the footer as well as the brand logo \[04 06] so, oh, and i wanted to show you the logo that the ambassadors will see this is a little bit, uhm, uh, looks like the alignment's slightly off in this preview, but when they actually log in themselves the alignment's not off \[04 20] but this is where they'll see your logo, and then if the ambassador has access to multiple brands, they would be able to open up this brand switcher dropdown and switch between all of their brands, which is also where it would show your name as the brand, so \[04 36] okay, so that basically covers it for the, uhm, that covers it for the brand info tab if you have any questions on what these are mean or need help with anything, shoot us an email, support at getroster com and in the meantime, have a great day \[04 55] thanks step by step instructions access brand settings click on your brand logo and name in the lower section of the left
