Add Veeper leakproof codes to smart links

integrating veeper with roster using veeper's leakproof codes allows you to offer unique, one time use discount codes to ambassadors working through your shopify store this prevents the codes from being widely shared, ensuring they only apply to intended transactions this guide walks you through the process of setting up this integration in your ambassador program using roster's smart links video walkthrough video transcript this is a transcript from the loom video walkthrough \[00 00] hey, this is jeff at roster in this video, i'm going to show you how you can integrate veeper and their ability to offer leak proof codes through their shopify plugin into your, one of your programs \[00 15] and this is done through smart links so let me go ahead and click into my list of programs here on the left navigation, and then i'm going to select the program settings for the program that i want to enable this for \[00 28] and then i'm going to click on the referrals tab and i already have a smart link for this program, but if you don't, you can simply add it \[00 36] and you can see here that this smart link doesn't currently have a customer discount associated to it so i'm going to click to edit the smart link and then when the smart link modal opens up i'm going to expand it \[00 48] i'm going the customer discount section and in the customer discount dropdown i'm going to select campaign links, links by veeper \[00 57] and i already have a code in there from a previous integration, but what i'm going to do now is just come over to the, uh, shopify store that i have where i've added veeper as a shopify app \[01 10] and then i'm going to click on the key campaigns tab and then i'm going to create a campaign if you already have a campaign, you could use that too \[01 19] but for this campaign type, we want to select link only and that means that this campaign, the discount that we're going to add here is only applied when the link is used \[01 29] so we can give this a name um, what program was i using? pro athletes program discount and i want that to be storewide, a fixed amount \[01 43] let's give that a 15% discount and discount's been applied countdown let's see, name of campaign pro athletes nobody will actually see this \[02 00] because we're just going to be using it through link, and then i'm going to select endless for the end date \[02 04] i think that's everything, so we'll go ahead and click publish and then when, when a, the success message pops up, what you want to do is click copy id to copy this campaign id \[02 15] and then you're going to come back into roster, and you're going to paste it into the, ah, veeper campaign id field \[02 21] and then in the veeper discount amount, you just need to type in the same discount you typed on the other side \[02 27] and this is just used so that roster knows what the actual discount is uhm, so, whatever you put into veeper, whether it's percentage or fixed amount, just put in the same value here, and then your ambassadors will be able to see that when they're viewing their smart link inside of their ambassador \[02 44] portal okay, so now just go ahead and click save thank you alright, so now we have added the veeper campaign link to the smart link for my pro athletes program, so let's go ahead and grab one of our pro athletes referral links \[02 59] so we'll grab, uhm, justin's here, we'll expand their profile, and then we'll grab their smart link and the cool thing about adding a customer discount to a smart link is it doesn't change the ambassador's referral link at all, so this is all transparent and happens when they actually do a, uhm, the \[03 19] redirect is where the discount code will get applied so i'm going to do a redirect and land on this page, and then this is the veeper pop up that you can customize in your campaign settings \[03 31] so i'm going to go ahead and click close there, and then i will see oh you can actually see i have this enabled in my store \[03 37] this is an optional veeper feature where you can show, uhm, redline prices for discounts since the discounts already been applied, or will be applied \[03 49] so go ahead and view my cart here, and let's see here oh, i actually already have the code i'm going have to do a quick reset because i do a lot of testing on it \[04 00] so let's go ahead and reset all that data that brings me back to an empty state so i'm going to repaste in the referral link \[04 09] okay, there we go and i will add the product to the cart view the cart okay, there we go that's what i was expecting \[04 21] so now there's the veeper discount code that got created and that's a one time use code so this is why they call it a leak proof code \[04 31] you can use this only one time, so and then it expires, i think, pretty aggressively, like in 90 minutes or something \[04 40] okay, so that applied the code so i'm not going to go ahead and finish the checkout because you can imagine what would happen \[04 46] but this code will get applied to the cart but because i came in with an ambassador link, roster will pick up which ambassador that link was for \[04 54] and when the purchase is made, the ambassador will get the credit and then veeper, um, the veeper leak proof code would have been applied, so and that's it \[05 02] it's really, really straightforward basically, all you have to do is paste in that campaign id into roster and your veeper integration is all set \[05 10] so love the guys over at veeper uh, check out their coupon blocker, which is an amazing product to block your shareable codes that you've given out to your ambassador \[05 21] so it's a little different than the leak proof codes this helps block and prevent codes from getting leaked out to all the coupon sharing sites \[05 28] so, awesome product, and we're super glad that we have that really nice collaboration between roster and veeper alright, let us portal, click on the programs section from the left hand navigation menu select the program you wish to integrate veeper with by clicking on the program settings edit smart link for the program click on the referrals tab if a smart link already exists, click edit smart link if not, add a new smart link in the smart link modal, go to the customer discount section from the customer discount dropdown, select campaign links by veeper create a veeper campaign in shopify in shopify, navigate to the veeper app and select the campaigns tab click on create a campaign and choose the link only campaign type name the campaign (e g the program name from roster) set the discount type, e g , a fixed percentage (e g , 15% discount), and apply the discount storewide choose endless as the end date and click publish copy the campaign id from the success message update veeper details in roster return to roster and paste the copied campaign id into the veeper campaign id field enter the equivalent discount amount in the veeper discount amount field to match the shopify setup click save to finalize the integration verify and test the integration select an ambassador's profile to grab their referral smart link ensure that the discount is automatically applied when using the smart link for checkout the ambassador will receive credit when a purchase is completed using their link verify the
