Shareable discount rules in Roster enable brands to create and manage discounts that ambassadors can share with their audience, fostering customer engagement and tracking referrals. This guide provides an overview of shareable discount rules and their functionality within Roster.

### Access the discount rules page

1. Navigate to the left-hand menu in Roster and click on the **More** icon.
2. Select **Discounts** to view a list of all your brand’s discount rules.

### Identify shareable discount rules

1. On the discount rules page, locate the icons in the left-hand column.
2. Hover over the icons to view their descriptions:
   - **Three people icon** indicates a shareable discount rule.
3. Shareable discount rules are designed for ambassadors to share with their audience, generating referrals when used by non-ambassadors.

### View and manage discount rule details

1. Click on a shareable discount rule to open its details page.
2. Review the following sections:
   - **Performance**: Total codes assigned, times used, and total revenue generated.
   - **Details**: Discount type (e.g., percentage or fixed amount), applicable products, and usage limits.
   - **Linked Programs**: Programs associated with the discount rule.
3. For Shopify-linked discount rules:
   - Click **View in Shopify** to open the discount rule in your Shopify admin.
   - Review top-level and redeem codes created under the discount rule.

### Edit a shareable discount rule

1. Select **Edit Discount Rule** to update settings:
   - Change the title (visible to ambassadors).
   - Add a description with instructions or guidelines.
   - Adjust discount type (percentage or fixed amount).
   - Constrain discounts to specific products or collections (Shopify only).
2. Save changes to apply updates across all associated ambassadors.

### Preview the ambassador's experience

1. Log in as an ambassador to review their perspective:
   - Navigate to the **Referrals** tab.
   - Locate the **Shareable Discount Codes** section.
2. Ambassadors can view:
   - Code details, including expiration and usage limits.
   - Number of referrals generated from the code.
   - Benefits to customers and associated rewards (e.g., referral points or commissions).
