Integrating Veeper with Roster using Veeper's leakproof codes allows you to offer unique, one-time use discount codes to ambassadors working through your Shopify store. This prevents the codes from being widely shared, ensuring they only apply to intended transactions. This guide walks you through the process of setting up this integration in your ambassador program using Roster's smart links.

## Step-by-step instructions

### Access program settings

1. In the Roster portal, click on the `Programs` section from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select the program you wish to integrate Veeper with by clicking on the `Program settings`.

### Edit smart link for the program

1. Click on the `Referrals` tab.
2. If a smart link already exists, click `Edit Smart Link`. If not, add a new smart link.
3. In the smart link modal, go to the `Customer discount` section.
4. From the `Customer discount` dropdown, select `Campaign links by Veeper`.

### Create a Veeper campaign in Shopify

1. In Shopify, navigate to the Veeper app and select the `Campaigns` tab.
2. Click on `Create a campaign` and choose the `Link only` campaign type.
3. Name the campaign (e.g. the program name from Roster)
4. Set the discount type, e.g., a fixed percentage (e.g., 15% discount), and apply the discount storewide.
5. Choose `Endless` as the end date and click `Publish`.
6. Copy the `Campaign ID` from the success message.

### Update Veeper details in Roster

1. Return to Roster and paste the copied `Campaign ID` into the `Veeper campaign ID` field.
2. Enter the equivalent discount amount in the `Veeper discount amount` field to match the Shopify setup.
3. Click `Save` to finalize the integration.

### Verify and test the integration

1. Select an ambassador's profile to grab their referral smart link.
2. Ensure that the discount is automatically applied when using the smart link for checkout.
3. The ambassador will receive credit when a purchase is completed using their link.
4. Verify the Veeper discount code is a one-time use (leak-proof) code.
