Adding swag or perks to a product reward in Roster is a great way to enhance the ambassador experience by offering branded merchandise or extra gifts alongside their main reward. Whether it’s company-branded swag, overstock items, or limited-edition perks, Roster allows you to seamlessly integrate these items into an automated product reward.

By utilizing multiple product groups within a reward, you can let ambassadors select their main product while also giving them the option to claim additional perks. This guide will walk you through adding swag or extra items to a product reward in Roster.

## Step-by-step instructions

### Create or edit an existing product reward

1. Navigate to `Campaigns` or `Milestones` in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select the campaign or milestone where the product reward is configured.
3. Click `Edit` to modify the campaign or milestone.
4. Scroll down to the `Rewards` section and locate the existing product reward.
5. Click `Edit Reward` to open the reward builder.

### Add a swag or extra product group

1. In the reward builder, click the `Add` button to add another product group.
2. Select to add products or collections.
3. Search for the product(s) or collection(s) you want to add from your store.
4. Rename the product group to indicate the type of product group (e.g., "Brand swag", "Ambassador perks").
5. Click `Save` to finalize the new product group.

### Ambassador experience

1. Ambassadors who qualify for the reward will see the additional swag options during redemption.
2. They can select their primary reward and also choose from the swag product group.
3. The reward is fulfilled just like any other Shopify order.
4. If the swag is a **hidden product**, ensure it is configured correctly in Shopify (see "Adding Hidden Products" guide).

### Verify order processing and fulfillment

1. Navigate to the `Rewards` section in Roster to track redemptions.
2. Select a redeemed reward to view the ambassador's selections.
3. Click on the Shopify order link to open it in your Shopify admin.
4. Fulfill the order as usual, ensuring all selected items are shipped together.
