Adding hidden products to a product reward in Roster allows ambassadors to redeem exclusive or pre-release products that are not visible to the general public in your Shopify store. This feature is useful for product launches, ambassador-only items, or limited-time rewards. By managing hidden products properly, brands can offer special perks to ambassadors while keeping certain products private.

## Step-by-step instructions

### Hide a product in Shopify

1. Log into your Shopify admin panel.
2. Navigate to `Products` in the left-hand menu.
3. Select the product you want to hide.
4. In the `Publishing` card, select `Manage sales channels` from the `...` menu.
5. Remove the product from all visible channels (e.g., `Online Store`).
6. Save the changes to ensure the product is hidden from public view.

### Add the hidden product to a product reward in Roster

1. Navigate to `Campaigns` or `Milestones` in the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Select the campaign or milestone where the product reward is configured.
3. Click `Edit` to modify the campaign or milestone.
4. Scroll down to the `Rewards` section and click `Edit Reward`.
5. In the product group section, click `Add Product`.
6. Search for the hidden product by name.
7. Select the product and click `Add`.
8. Click `Save` to finalize the reward.

### Ambassador experience

1. Ambassadors who qualify for the reward will see the hidden product available for selection.
2. They can complete the checkout process within Roster.
3. Roster will generate the order in Shopify, even though the product remains hidden from the public store.

1. Ensure the hidden product has inventory available in Shopify.
2. Test the redemption process to confirm the product is correctly added to the ambassador’s order.
3. Fulfill the order in Shopify as usual.
